Welcome to the forum's first Random Contest. The type of contest we are holding this month is an art contest.


The theme of this contest is: "the opening of the Australian Pokemon Forum and the introduction of our mascot, Lamington".


To enter this contest, you must create and submit a piece of artwork pertaining to the theme. You must post a link or image of your entry in reply to this thread. Entries may be drawings, sculptures (in which case, you post a photo of it), paintings, etc. Example: a picture of Lamington celebrating the opening of the forum, etc. Be creative!

• Any artwork submitted MUST be 100% your own. Manipulations of images are not allowed
  
• You must submit your entry by the due date (see below).
  
• When posting your entry on this board, make sure the image isn't too big, or if you cannot resize it, then post a link to it.
  

CRITERIA

You will be judged on the following criteria:

Creativity- How original is the submitted artwork? Has an interesting medium been used?
Use of the theme- How well has the theme of "the opening of the Australian Pokemon Forum and the introduction of the mascot, Lamington" been expressed or manipulated? How much creativity has been used in exploring this theme?
Presentation- How well is the image presented? For example, if it's a photo of a sculpture, is the quality of the photo clear, and is the image displayed attractively?
Impact- Is the image amusing or emotionally appealing?

(Please note that the skill level of the artist is not a criteria)


Your entries MUST be posted by the 24th of July. Any entries posted after this date will not be counted. Judging will take place on the week from the 24th till the 31st of July. Results will be posted in a new topic around the 31st.


There will be a first prize and a runner up prize. There are currently no prizes. Message Goanna if you would like to donate something.
