Is anyone buying this game? Or has bought it already? I'm not sure when it comes out. From the reviews I've read, it seems to be a pretty good game. Some reviews say that the idea of it is very good, as a break from the main series, and that it's simple enough for anyone to pick up, but complicated enough to enjoy. I find the concept quite interesting and the artwork (especially the character designs) is lovely! I don't normal play turn-based strategy games though. What are other peoples' thoughts on this game?

I think it came out on the 21st... Haven't been to EB Games for a while though so I'm not sure. I'm really interested in getting it, but I don't usually play these kinds of games either. To be honest I'm not even sure what kind of a game it is, so maybe I have and I just don't recognise it. I won't know for sure until I play Conquest myself. But I plan to get it, because it's Pokemon. And it looks like a little bit of fun haha.

It is basically the gameplay of Final Fantasy Tactics and Fire Emblem with a old Japanese style of story with characters based from Japans history and with Pokemon in it.

Lol I had no idea what this game was at first, but the story and concept is really interesting, I still haven't looked into it much, but that fact that it seems to be the closest to like, a Japanese Origin in the Pokemon Games makes me really happy. I haven't played to many turn based stratergie games, but the ones I have have been really fun.
Warbear777 said it's like Fire Emblem, I quite like that game so if thats the case I'll be sure to give it a shot. I mean, hey it's with Pokemon right, how could they go wrong? xD

I wouldn't say it really is a lot like Fire Emblem. It's much more like Final Fantasy Tactics in the end. It's a little different for a Pokemon game but not enough to not be Pokemon. One thing that bothers me is the map shape though.

The Map is an Arceus and i quiet like the game its very good and has many hours of gameplay, has a slight learning curb but after you get over it a very good game.

Oh okay. I can push through a learning curve, I just wasn't sure if other pokemon players recommended it.

Yeah I agree with Kenks, if anyone gets the game, tell us all what it's like I haven't played Final Fantasy or Fire Emblem so I don't really know what it's like, from that xD
